Damaris has just started building her portfolio, and contacted me to get the ball rolling. I wish her all the luck on her, for now, hobby, but perhaps her second career soon enough.
Sara and Jan were in Galway visiting some old friends and colleagues, and they also took the opportunity to get a few photographs together, to immortalise the moment. And they couldn’t have chosen a better weekend, one of those rare sunny weekends in Ireland!
Since I met Migle, she has been telling me how much she likes to be photographed, and although she is not dedicating her time to professional modelling, she has been involved in a few assignments in the past. I don’t remember how the idea of a boudoir session came into play, but I remember she just needed a little push until she happily agreed and we got the ball rolling.
I love taking pictures of families, just capturing the special moments when they all laugh, kiss, play and do basically what they like the most. Kids are great when the camera is around, and the two brothers of from last Sunday’s photo shoot were just fantastic. Kudos for mummy and daddy too!
I’m always so excited to capture newborns. They are perfect little angels. If you are a photographer, and love babies, you should definitely give it a try. It is a hard but very heartwarming experience.
Little Hanna was 15 days old when her parents brought her into my studio for the session. Although most newborns this age are mostly sleeping, Hanna seemed to want her beautiful eyes to shine on her portraits.
Migle and I enjoyed so much our last photo shoot together that we agreed on going for a second round, changing the location to one of the wonderful beaches near Galway. I must admit she’s a really easy going, and fabulous to work with, person.
I had the pleasure to arrange my first newborn photo shoot with the lovely 8 days old baby girl Lukrecija. They (mum, newborn and her two sisters), arrived at 11ish to my studio, and spent the rest of the morning and afternoon working around the feeds and nap times to capture plenty of beautiful images of the amazing lovely newborn.
